100 gr wholemeal flour
50 gr oats
40 gr sugar
Mix the egg with the sugar, then add the flour, the oats, and the baking powder which you’ll have earlier combined. Now, it’s you choice to use water or any kind of milk, in any case it has to be warm. Add gradually till the mixture is mushy (if it’s too liquid add some oats or flour). Then heat the pan, add a litlle bit of butter or oil if you’re afraid the dought could stick to the pan. Pour ladles of mixture into the pan, one or two at a time (it depends how big your pan is). Cook until the edges are dry and surface starts to be a bit darker.
Add toppings: jam, penut butter, fruit…whatever! Aaaaand enjoy!
As you can see I usually do not put much sugar inside(sometimes I do not at all) cause I prefer adding more sugary topping such as maple syrup or agave syrup but if you’re a more sugary person of course feel free to add more of it in the mixture 🙂
