Hello dear followers!
Another Sunday is arrived and my post, about some of my favourite things I’ve done or read which I’d like to share with you, is ready!
By now I think you understood that the first thing I always write about in these posts is a restaurant/ coffee place / food place in general, which I’ve been to and really liked. Well, this Sunday I’ll present you one of my favourite spots where to enjoy a fabulous Brunch! (You know how much I’m in love with brunches, right? If not, check it out here 😉 )
The first time I tried this place I was in Belgium, but it’s actually a chain so you can find it in other countries, so that’s even more great! Indeed, Le Pain Quotidien, which translation from french id ” The daily bread” was originally born in Belgium but then due to it’s success, expanded all over the world, they have shops in London, NY, India & more!
What I love most about this place is that as soon as you enter in one of their shops everything, from the interior design (sorry, no pics this time 🙁 ) to their products, give you that genuine feeling of home and attention to details. Okay, of course this has been studied and it’s all about marketing you’ll say… but still, this feeling is projected also on their dishes and in the end, I think it’s the most important thing. As announced, the meal I enjoy the most there is Brunch, they have 3 main types of brunch composed by different combinations. My favourite is the fisherman one:
but I can assure you that the picture doesn’t give the right idea of how many tings there were there! Plus, they have a vast choice of jams and spreads that they make which adds to the whole brunching experience more pleasure. Another great point is that they have gluten free options and their gluten free bread is one of the best I’ve eaten until now!
Of course they not just serve brunch. Last time I was there I had lunch with two friends of mine and the hummus trio I took was delicious! Also the avocado toast and goat the cheese salad didn’t look bad at all!
Le Pain Quotidien was born as a a bakery so they still have all the pastries and fresh bread area and just by looking at those you’d want to stay there forever 😀
Now.. after having acclaimed this place like it it was heaven on earth 😀 let’s talk about prices: as you’d expect the prices are medium-high, brunches are between 18 and 22 euros (everything included except special drinks)… but at least the meal will fill you and I think going there once in a while it’s worth the money! If you want to spend a little less or if you do not have time to sit they also offer a take away menu which includes more or less the same selection as the sitting one 🙂
The second thing I’d like to share with you today is my new singing video! This time my sister and her friend really outdid theirselves! Indeed, what is different from the other videos I have is that this one is more a video clip and really, I was so amazed when I saw their final work. I’m so grateful they’re helping me with this, I may have the voice but I do not know anything about video making 😀
Anyway, to watch the video click here 😉
and if you haven’t seen the others yet, click here, it will bring you to my Youtube channel 🙂 By the way, don’t hesitate to subscribe to my channel so that you’ll be always notified when a new video comes up 😉
Let me know what you think about it,I’m more than welcome to read your comments below!
Thank you for reading ( & listening 😉 ) , have a great Sunday everyone! 🙂
