I have been nominated for this super fun award by my fellow blogger The Girl That Dreams Awake whom blog I definitely recommend you to check out! She mainly posts pictures and recipes and they’re just amazing!
Here are the rules of the Award:
And here are the questions(really interesting ones!) I had been given with my answers:
1.What is the best place you ever been to?
Oh this is a tough question since I liked most of the places I’ve been to 😀 But on top of my list there’s Istanbul (Turkey) and Verona(Italy). I had the opportunity to visit Istanbul during a 10 days cruise so we stayed there just for 2 days but I would have spent there all the vacation. I loved the colours, the style of the buildings, walking around the enormous market and the boat tour by night we made the last evening we were there. I just have a wonderful memory of that city and can’t wait to go back and discover all the things I didn’t have time to visit the previous time.
Then, as mentioned, the other city I’m in love with is Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, located in the north part of Italy and not far at all from my hometown. What I really like about Verona is the general atmosphere of the city: romantic but historical at the same time, ancient, since many of the man attractions were built during the Roman period but at the same time modern, with many up to date events and concerts.Plus, the buildings in the city centre have a unique style and the walk along the Arno river is so peaceful and fulfilling. (If you want to know more about this city I made a specific post about it in collaboration with a friend who lives there, click here to check it out 😉 )
2.What is your favourite book of all times?
As I said here, I’m not a great reader, and when I’m reading something is usually manuals or biographies kind of books, I love learning more about what I like through the experience of others. So excluding these kind of books which yes, they are my favourite, I loved the book “Message From Forever ” by Marlo Morgan, a story about aboriginal twins separated at birth and the search for roots that reunites them from opposite sides of the globe. It’s a really moving story which invites the reader to reflect about some aspects of life from different points of view.
3.Were do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years (2026!!! Omg, it’s weird just thinking about that), I hope I’ll be doing a job that I love which combines my studies (so business/marketing related) with my passions, so anything that I write about in this blog. I hope I’ll be somewhere in the world were I can discover new places but at the same time being surrounded by people I love. I see myself somewhere were my enthusiasm and my positive attitude towards new things will still be alive and growing each day 🙂
