I’m back! Catch-up & Updates

Hello dear followers!

I hope you’re all doing well and that you September is going on in the best way! Mine is passing so fast many events and memorable moments happened/ are happening πŸ™‚

First of all, as I told you here, I went on a 10 days cruise and it has been just amazing! I travelled, I relaxed, I tanned… I definitely got the most of it! All the places I’ve visited during this time left in me something different and unique which I can’t wait to share with you in my future posts.

Of course I already have many post ideas about all the places I’ve seen but unfortunately an unlucky event happened one of the last days… my phone crashed so I switched it off and on again and…well, ALL the pictures I made (more than 1000…) were not there anymore. I still had a hope I could have them all back since they were saved in a SD card but when I got home it turned out that the problem was actually of the sim and not of the phone so… bye bye pictures. You can just imagine my feeling about it. I couldn’t / can believe it and I’m so sad every time this comes to my mind but okay, this is definitely not the worse thing that can happen in life and of course it won’t stop me to share all the beautiful experience I lived, with you. Luckily during the cruise I met some great people who kindly offered me to share their pictures with me so I’ll still be able to show you how amazing these 10 days were.

Anyway, let’s go back to positive and happy topics! Another point which I announced in this post was that after the cruise I would have moved to London for my last year of studies and… HERE I AM! I’m writing this post from my new roomΒ (which I already arranged in order to make it feel like home πŸ˜‰ )Β in London, still can’t believe it myself but it’s actually true!! πŸ™‚ It’s so incredible to walk out of my building and feel immediately that London atmosphere that rolls you up and just wanna make you walk around with no precise destination because in any case you’ll discover something new. The only thing I have to get re-used to it’s the weather (you know, after 10 days of super sun and 30Β°C…. :D) so it might be useful for me re-reading this and this posts I wrote a few months ago when I was living in the UK! πŸ˜‰
Anyway, I’m so glad and grateful to have the possibility to live in this city! Of course, as soon as I’m more settled I’ll also be posting about my new findings here but in the meanwhile if you have anything to suggest about stuff to do/see here, I’m more than welcome to read about them! πŸ™‚

Moreover, new collaborations with other bloggers (and not only) are coming up and I’m very excited about it!
Do you remember Laura? One of my dearest friends whom I collaborate with to write this post? You could already have a taste of her wonderful pictures in that post but from next week you”ll also see her pictures on my Instagram page. Indeed, from October 6th every Thursday my Instagram will totally be in Laura’s hands and she’ll be sharing with you some of her amazing shots πŸ™‚ So be sure to follow me on Instagram by going here and pressing the follow button and follow Laura on her brand new website:Β mylaurasphotography.com totally worth a look! πŸ˜‰

Other collaborations are also coming up but about these, I’ll tell you more soon πŸ˜‰

Another new happening on the blog is related to interviews. I already had a section where I posted interviews I made to other people called “A coffee with…”. This will be continued but will also be expanded. Indeed, after being inspired by the name of my blog “From dream to plan” which represents me, my experiences and the topics I write about, I would like to interview people who also managed to transform one or more of their dream into plans/ reality. Reading other people’s experience and life has always been rousing to me and I believe also for many other people, due to this, starting this new initiative would be a pleasure.

I hope you’ll be pleased to read about all these news and thank you all for your kind comments and wishes before I left for the cruise, it has been so nice to read them! πŸ™‚

Mmmm what else? She’s definitely a morning person, really lazy when it comes to make up and could spend more time in a stationary store than in a clothes one –

She loves sharing thoughts, feelings and reactions so do not hesitate to comment or contact her!

Your cruise sounds amazing! What a terrible shame about your photos though – very upsetting xx

    1. Thank you Lucy! Yes, very very upsetting…luckily I have wonderful memories though! πŸ™‚

  8. In pre-digital days, we had a similar thing happen to us on our honeymoon, because there was no film in the camera, yet the camera kept winding on, so we didn’t realize until we went to get the film developed! We felt very ditzy! Fortunately, it wasn’t all the photos, as back then, each film was a maximum of 30 photos, but the shots we lost, like the beautiful little cove on South Molle Island, were etched deeply on our memory, so hopefully that has happened to you too! Enjoy London- what a great opportunity to spend unlimited time there! We look forward to reading your future blogposts! xxx

    1. I’m so sorry for your film!! I guess it’s just technology.. we can’t really count too much on it, lesson learned! πŸ™‚
Thank you very much, I’m already enjoying my stay, London is just amazing! Thanks for reading and commenting Jane!

  9. […] I announced in this post, I will start a new series of post where I am going to interview people who made their dreams […]

  10. So sorry for the loss of your photos – technology is wonderful when it works but not all the time πŸ™ Glad you found some lovely people on your trip who could share their photos with you πŸ™‚ Very best wishes with your new ventures in London! We lived there for 9 years before we moved to Perth (them Melbourne then back to Perth in WA!). Our younger daughter moved to London over 2 years ago now – she certainly misses the Perth weather but has good work in London and it’s a great experience to live there! πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you, yes I was really grateful when they sent me some of their pics!
So cool you live in Australia, is a dream of mine going there!! I bet your daughter misses the lovely weather in Perth but good that she’s happy here! I guess is the same feeling I have towards my country (Italy): I’m missing the weather and the people but for the rest I’m really enjoying my stay here! πŸ™‚
