Sunday Suggestions #7

Hello everyone and Happy Sundayyy!

Another Sunday Suggestions post is ready and I have so many exciting things to share with you! (At least from my point of view 😀 )

So, as you could see from this post which is actually part of a posts series I’m doing together with Yassmine, my “cute & cosy cafè hunting” in London already started! But, omg guys there are so many places! My list is getting longer and longer! Anyway, the cafè I reviewed in the previous post I mainly reviewed their drinks since I didn’t went there to eat. This time I’m sharing with you a cafè/lunch spot where I actually had lunch, it’s called The Black Penny and it’s positioned between Soho and Clerkenwell. Now, I admit that maybe it’s my fault because I’m still not totally in this “London mentality” and I didn’t consider that during a Sunday we were not actually the only one going out for Lunch, in London so my friends and I had to queue quite a while before having a table, the place itself is not that big but has tables both indoor and outdoor. So, if any of you will go there I STORNGLY advice to book a table! 🙂

The interior design gives this warm-house feeling and the staff was very polite as well. Plus, despite the place was full, we didn’t have to wait long for our meals and that’s always a good point 🙂 They have many american/English breakfast options and also single dishes. As you can see, one of my friends took eggs & beckon, the other one a kind of sweet potatoes salad with beef and crispy Parmesan, and I’ve got a salad with beef too (not in the picture, sorry) but the gluten free option 😉

Oh yes, they have gluten, vegan and vegetarian options too! Even for the cakes, which as you can see they look so good! My friends tried a piece of chocolate and a banana muffin and were both very pleased!

Overall prices are on average and water with mint and cucumber is included! I have to admit though that also their fresh smoothies and juices looked very good! So The Black Penny is approved! 😀

The second suggestion I have for you today was actually a suggestion given to my from my lovely friend Laura (yes, the friend of mine which takes awesome pictures and with who I wrote this post with, and yes, the same friend of mine which posts a shot taken by her in my IG page every Thursday! ). The great discovery I’ve done thanks to her advice is, finding out about ….OMG, I already considered Pinterest as a source of inspiration and ideas but this website just blowed me away. Let’s be clear, it’s quite different as Pinterest because here you can find more articles, informative reads, amazing pictures…well okay it might be very similar to Pinterest but as soon as you’ll try it you’ll understand what I mean, it’s a never ending book and fountain of knowledge! A big THANK YOU to Laura for making me discovering it!

That’s all for this Sunday!

I hope you’re enjoying your day and… in case you’re bored, Stumbleupon can help!! 😀

I have been asked from the lovely blogger of Eclectic Ellen a few questions about what is inspiration for me and it has been such a pleasure a fun to answer them! Click here to read the full interview  🙂

  3. I think that one of the advantages of living in a mega city like London is having so many options! I remember visiting Paris few years ago and having so many options of eating outside. Everything from French to Korean to Italian to what not.
The cafe looks so lovely and cozy! And the lunch looks delicious. I am glad you had a good time there! Thank you for suggesting the ‘stumbleupon’ – I will make sure to check it out! 🙂
