Review: Breakfast at Gail’s

Happy Sunday everyone!

And yes, this is one of the two Sunday’s of the month where I share with you some of my favourite things or new discoveries! Let’s start by… ( I know you know it….) a coffee shop review! Actually, it’s been quite a while I haven’t reviewed a cafè and I definitely have to catch up! 🙂

The cafè I’m talking about is GAIL’s , which is actually a bakery so even better. It’s located in Chelsea and you’ll be caught by the place already from the outside and from it’s window!

The interior design is very sweet and neat at the same time. There is a lot of space where to sit and eat but at the same time they have many take away options.

My friend and I just took a coffee but as you can see from the pictures the pastries are quite irresistible!

The second topic I’ll cover today is about actions and goals. I’ve already covered the topic of how to be a pro on writing down your goals and I’m sure many of you have read loads of “2017 goals” post. But what about the actions in between the moment you write them down and achieving them? That’s the tricky part, right?

About this,  onegirlsjourneytofreedom wrote this short post about making sure your actions support your dreams and the main point highlighted is: It’s all about mindset! Especially when starting a new task, if you already start it with a non-positive and encouraging mood, this won’t help at all. Always think about the total picture, the final goal you want to achieve, the little step towards it will help to build it.

At the same time, this mood could draw us to discard some dreams or put them in “stand by” like ” yeah one day I’ll have more possibilities to achieve that…” but, as stated by Ayishat Amoo from what about pursuing those dreams NOW? Taking that step could actually open your doors to many others!

And if you feel the problem is that you’re not productive enough well, Kristy from has revealed the secret about how to boost your productivity: single tasking! We all have many things to do but if we look at them all together it’s kind of scary right? Let’s try to look at them one at a time and you’ll se that accomplishing one task after another will make the game way more easier and less stressful! 😉

    Happy Sunday Lisa!
    Gail’s seems a nice place!
Talking about our goals, I agree with what you write, that our mindset is very important to reach them. It’s not the only thing, but I think visualizing our goal, having in mind the final result as it was already achieved can help.

I could definitely need some focus for goals and I know too well what “stand by” means :/ No more excuses eh? Have a great week!

Unfortunately I’m alergic to a lot of stuff and can’t eat most of those things but a friend of mine goes there often as said it’s very good! 🙂

Lovely little shop. There are a couple new little shops where I live that I have not taken the time to go check out. I hope they turn out nearly as nice as this one.

The presentation of the coffee shop inside and out is so darling! I love it. I mean the way the treats are assorted out is so appealing. It makes me want one of everything!!
