Happy first Sunday of March dear readers, I hope this new month started in the best way!
That’s start immmmmediately talking about my latest discovery here in London city! I know, you’ll scrall downa and you’ll say: “Is it really in London??!! It seems like beside a harbour or something…” Well you see correctly because this super nice cafè is locted in the St. Katharine’s Pier, an area kind of hidden, right next to Tower Bridge!
The cafè is called White Mulberries (you can check their IG page here 😉 ) and going there during a sunny day is just the best thing you could do! For a while you’ll even forget to be in a polluted and crowded city (I mean, I LOVE London but let’s admit it…)
But acquiring loads of positive points for being located in a very nice area, White Mulberries serves also a very good coffe, a quite vast variety of cakes (gluten free & vegan options included!) and lunch ideas as well!
When I was there I drank a very nice almond milk chai latte, with a champagne macaron as a little treat and I enjoyed both! While my friend tried a homemeade sandwitch and a fresh juice 🙂
Another aspect that I loved about this place is the interor space, from the design to the “details that make the difference”. Plus, as you can see, it’s also a great place where to go for wroking or studying (even on a rainy English day 😉 )
So if you’ll every find yourself around towr bridge area, fro a quick lunch or craving for a coffee or a sweet treat, this is definitely the place to be! 🙂
Moving on to the second topic for this Sunday…
As said at the beginning of the post, apparently it’s March…already(/finally – spring, I’m waiting for you!!). Anyway, as time flies and most of our days are spent dealing with our routine does it ever happen to you to stop for a second and say: “Am I actually living the moment?”
I know it sounds weird but.. if you think about it, it’s not that obvious. When routine gets you totally, are you really enjoying what you’re doing or are you doing it because you have to/you’ve always done like that? I loved this post written by Rebekka Lien from rebekkalien.com, especially the statement
“We want to be in school or working, we want to have goals, we want to achieve….
But what if we were happy now.”
I’m the first person here totally into goals and planning but living NOW and realising that what we have already is actually a lot, is so important. And if when thinking about this you’re stuck, not knowing what you can do to live the moment,well, Alanna from imagalaxygirl.wordpress.com wrote down this great list of 25 things you can do right now to make the most of what you have right now (my personal favorites are #13 & #16 😉 ).
And of course, taking the most of yourself now, as you are could actually make you open your eyes from many aspects. About this, I enjoyed all the points listed by Kirsty from komoberi.com in her 12 ways to be the happiest version of yourself post. Sometimes we tend to underestimate small actions but they could actually help us so much! And if you’re one of those person who uses the excuse “I don’t really have much time for myself”, well, Tilly from lifeastillyrose.co.uk wrote this amazing post with some simple but efficient ideas to actually make time for yourself which I definitely recommend you to check out! 😉
