It’s been a while since my last recipe, but I’ll commit to fix this by right starting now and sharing with you this very healthy and easy snack idea (which is as well lactose and gluten free! 🙂 )
12o g Peanuts (or peanuts grain)
120 g Dark Chocolate
1 spoon Cinnamon
1 spoon Brown Sugar
1 Egg white
A pinch of salt
Start from mincing the chocolate and the peanuts by using a mixer ( I suggest to mince them seperately 😉 ). In my case I bought the peanuts in grain so the were ready-for use and I had to mince just the chocolate.
Blend it so that the chocolate has the same consistency as if it was flour.
Then, in a bowl, put together, the “chocolate flour”, the peanuts grain and a spoon of cinnamon.
In another bowl, whip the egg white with a pinch of salt until stiff.
Then add it to the bowl with the other ingredients.
At this point, start mixing everything first using a wooden spoon and then using the hands until the dough has a sandy but compact consistecy and start creating little balls which you will dispose in an oven pan.
Since they are quite energetic bites I suggest not to make the balls too big 🙂
When you’ll have finish this step, put the pan in the oven at 130°C for 30 min. As you can see from the pics, you’ll notice they are redy because the clour will be quite brighter.
Once ready, wait a bit untile they aren’t warm anyomore and…enjoy! 🙂
Oh and if you want to try the recipe in another version just substitute the peanuts with other dried fruits such as almonds or cashews 🙂
