My Easter-break is sadly coming to an end but this means I’ll soon be back to London! And to get back to those London vibes today I’m going to review a food place (yeah, I know I’m kind of obsessed 😀 ) I tried before coming back to Italy.
So, first things first and what’s one of the first things you do when the day starts? Breakfast! I love doing breakfast so I must say I’m quite picky about breakfast food, but honestly Farmstand, an environmentally-friendly fast food located in Covent Garden area, didn’t disapoint me at all!
What I immediately loved about this place is the general atmosphere you can experience as soon as you enter in the store: peaceful, simple and genuine.
And this is represented as well in their food and drinks offers which are all organic and homemade.
Secondly, you can create your own breakfast/lunch by deciding the toppings of your yoghurt for example. Most of their products are vegetarian and they offer vegan and gluten-free options as well. My friend and I went for a coconut yogurt with gluten-free granola, a chia seeds porridge with granola as well, a little piece of “coconut (gluten-free) blondie” and as drink an amazing green juice!
Definitely to mention that the staff is very friendly and helpful. While talking about prices, it really depends on what you get but in general they are medium-high (but definitely worth it both for the food quality and the service! 😉 )
As second topic for this Sunday Suggestions let’s talk about…confidence! I feel like it’s a topic which recently has been discussed a lot but I believe it’s kind of never “enough”….especially in this age where socials are at the center of the attention of everyone, used on a daily-basis and have really an astonishing power both on augmenting positive and (unfortunately) negative thoughts. Honestly, how many of you ever had a “low confidence moment” while scrolling down your feed? Probably everyone at least once. But you know what? “Confidence is the ability to feel beautiful, without needing someone to tell you” and this is the quote that Meenal Ranka from thequestlove.wordpress.com in the post “How to boost your confidence” where she listed really simple but very effective actions that can help you boost your confidence. My personal fav is: sit up straight, so easy to do but actually useful, right?!
Another post which will definitely give you more solutions to feel confident is “The Practical Guide To Self Confidence” written by Edye from gracefulcoffee.com. Edye listed other great advices about the topic and again I think a really useful one listed by her is “Embrace Your Perfect Imperfections” which yes, is more simple to say that to do but what about turning your imperfections in your unique point? 😉
