Graduation Trip, Updates and a Huge Grateful Feeling

Today is one of those days like June 1st, when you wake up, look at the calendar/phone/agenda and you ask yourself “How is it even possible that half a year is already gone?!”, one of those days when you have that “omg time is flying” feeling.

And I believe this feeling brings both positive as well as negative vibes, but… let’s focus on the positive ones! Indeed, seeing time passing quickly means that days or events that you’re looking forward to happening but seem very far, are actually very near! Today is the day I was waiting and organising since a

Today is the day I was waiting and organising since a veeery long time: I’M LEAVING FOR A MONTH TRIP! (aka my “graduation trip” ๐Ÿ™‚ ) I guess that thinking about dissertation, exams and moving from a student accommodation to an actual apartment made this waiting time so intense that now that I’m leaving I’m very looking forward to switching off my mind and enjoy a month around Canada, its amazing nature and landscape and catching up with a dear friend that I haven’t seen for a long time!

So yes, the destination is Canada! I’ll be trotting around Ontario and Quebec, and honestly, no matter how much I love London and living here, I’m looking forward to enjoying a bit of nature and of course exploring new places! And Obviously, this will mean loads of pictures and material for new posts! I’m not sure if I’ll be able to blog there but I’ll for sure be posting pictures on my Instagram Account (if we’re not connected there yet, click here, I’d love to with you there as well! ๐Ÿ™‚ )

I’ve planned the main movements, booked trains and buses but if you have any suggestions I’m more than welcome to hear them!!

This trip though is also another big event since I’m leaving as a graduate student and I’ll come back as an employee! Indeed, the day after I’m back I’ll be starting to work as Digital Marketing Executive, my first full-time job as a graduate!

Because of all these reasons, you can imagine how much I’m thrilled, excited and yes, a little bit scared to start this new adventure and, at the same time, I’m just so grateful to have the possibility to live all of this! And, I’m also very very grateful to have you here! Yes, you who you’re reading this post! As mentioned previously (for example here ๐Ÿ™‚ ) , blogging definitely had a positive impact in my life but nothing would have been possible without you, dear followers! You’re nearly 1000 and I still can’t believe it! Your support and love are so important!

Okay, I really have to go to finish packing now!! Thank you for reading until here!

I just want to add a little note reminder; if your day/last period is not really going well and after reading this you’re thinking “she’s so lucky…so many great things to look forward to” remember that it’s actually up to you! YOU can decide whether this is a good day or bad day, even if you’re not really in the perfect situation now, it might be a useful experience in order to reach what you really want and enjoy every satisfaction during the path because YOU made it!! My last period wasn’t that amazing either but hey, sometimes you win and sometimes you learn, right? ๐Ÿ™‚

Have an amazing weekend everyone! See you on Instagram ๐Ÿ˜‰

I spent two weeks in Ontario and Quรฉbec two years ago and absolutely loved it! Fairmount Bagel in Montrรฉal is well worth a visit, and the Plateau Mont-Royal neighbourhood is nice to wander round with lots of street art and independent eateries. In Toronto, I really liked exploring the Toronto Islands, which are just a short (and cheap) boat ride away from downtown. I’d also recommend breakfast at Aunties & Uncles (on the edge of Little Italy, Toronto). Have a great trip, and congratulations on the job!
